Steady progress is being made with the Club refurbishment. Many favourable comments have been received from members on the openness of the Club.
There is still a long way to go, but each week members will see small changes until the plan is completed in February or March. Today refurbishment is really an on going program, it never comes to an end.
Business Bowls commences on Wednesday 12th October, favourite sons Joe Dignam and Brian Purcell have put together an interesting Bowls program for the Twilight Spring time season. There are still a couple of spots left. So ring Joe or Purc or me at the Club to register your team. Business Bowls can be played in barefeet.
The Clubs entertatainment program was well accepted by members over winter. We are looking forward to ramping it up a bit over Summer. Look for the program on www.gerringongbowlo.com.au.
Club 25 is planning a trip on Sydney Harbour as a preview for this years Sydney to Horbart Yacht race. Expressions of interest, please see Shelly Godbee.
Wine tastings of various types will be held on Friday evenings 6pm-7pm before the raffle. In September the Club conducted a blind taste using five wines. Voted best wine was the $2 bottle……………..Your Kidding!!!!!!!
Congratulations to the Surfside Carnival organising Committee and Chief John Zarb. Another polished performance enjoyed by all. Well Done!
