BAREFOOT BOWLS
A lot of visitors to our club have questions about Barefoot Bowls, hopefully we can answer them here: Can we play? If you are a member or visitor to the club you can play barefoot bowls, kids can play under 18yrs if accompanied by an adult. How much does it cost? $6 per person. Do we need equipment? The club supplies mats, jacks and bowls for you. When are we able to get on a green? Most times the greens are free unless we have competition games. Sunday between 2.00pm and 4.00pm is great as the greens are supervised and you can get a bit of help. Most afternoons after 4.30pm are free if you know a bit about bowls yourself. You can find out about other times by enquiring at the bar. Is it fun? It is surprisingly good fun and more skillful than most people presume, you won’t know unless you have a go! Are there rules? Only a few, available from the Bar when you book.
